For those of you that missed the 60's - or just wish to relive them for an evening - the Solar Fire Lightshow will fire up the "WayBack" machine at the
Beachland Ballroom on Memorial Day weekend to transport attendees backwards in time to the Psychedelic 60's.
 
You may have seen these guys before since they're a local outfit and have toured with legendary groups like Hawkwind, Gong, Ozric Tentacles, Porcupine Tree, Nektar, and Brainticket...
while lighting up many other bands as the long time resident lightshow at Nelson Ledges. They know psychedelia!
 
They'll be presenting over 40 of the turbulent decade's most memorable tunes syncronized to a huge "over-the-top" lighting display using 11 projectors to help recreate
the sights, sounds, and feel of the 60's while you enjoy these classic songs by the original artists.
 
You'll hear bands like The Byrds, Count 5, Strawberry Alarm Clock, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane,
Jimi Hendrix, Eric Burdon and the Animals, Donovan, The Electric Prunes, Ten Years After, and many, many others.
 
Early light show pioneer Mick Brockett, the man behind NEKTAR's famous light shows, will do a colorful authentic Liquid Oil lighting display throughout
the evening around the many video clips, pics of bands, and trippy effects of the more modern and video driven Solar Fire Lightshow.
